Why the Brand Was Created:

Exsto was born from a personal journey of resilience and a deep-seated passion for quality and sustainability. After a career in professional rugby was cut short by a broken neck, I channeled my determination into the fitness industry, opening my own gym in 2016. Over the years, I became increasingly frustrated with the declining quality of activewear from big brands. I saw a gap in the market and decided to fill it with a brand that truly stood out – Exsto.

What We Prioritize:

At Exsto, we prioritize three core values: quality, customer service, and sustainability. Every product we create undergoes a rigorous development process, tested by regular gym users to ensure it can withstand sweat, chalk, and the wear and tear of the washing machine. We believe in creating activewear that does not compromise on style or performance, ensuring that our customers always feel confident and capable, whether they're at the gym or going about their daily lives.

What Issues We Aim to Tackle:

Many brands neglect the importance of durability and true functionality in their products. Exsto aims to tackle these issues head-on by refusing to launch any product that doesn't exceed the quality of the biggest names in the industry. We are committed to sustainability, using eco-friendly materials and practices wherever possible to reduce our environmental footprint. The Origin of the Brand:

The name Exsto is derived from the Latin word meaning "to stand out" or "to exist," encapsulating our mission to break away from the fast fashion industry and create something truly exceptional. Inspired by my own experiences and the needs of my clients, I envisioned a brand that celebrated strength, independence, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Our Inspiration:

Our inspiration comes from the strong, independent individuals who push boundaries every day – particularly working mums who juggle countless responsibilities and still find time to kick ass at the gym. These incredible people drive us to create products that support their active lifestyles and help them feel empowered and unstoppable.

Our mission is to disrupt the fast fashion industry with high-quality, sustainable activewear built to last. We strive to provide exceptional customer service and to continually innovate, ensuring our products remain at the forefront of both style and performance.

 

Maternity Range Launch:

In 2022, the birth of our daughter highlighted another gap in the market: high-quality, comfortable maternity wear. My wife found it extremely difficult to find maternity activewear that met her standards for comfort and durability. Inspired by her struggle, we launched a maternity range designed to provide the same level of quality and support that Exsto is known for, ensuring that expecting mothers can stay active and comfortable throughout their pregnancy.
